We offer the two winning essays of the One Book One Campus Essay Contest, “Requiem for an Elephant,” by Valeen Gonzales and “A Necessary Evil,” by Julie Sherwood.
And the three winners of the base line submissions contest: 1st place: “Mexican Memories,” by Marina Duran-Patino. Tied for second place: “Perfect Days,” by CJ Caldwell and “Distanced Love,’ by Nancy Yeang.
